While PAYMENTS 2018, the definitive destination for faster payments education, has a full slate of sessions and workshops to attend, there also are plenty of opportunities to mix, mingle, network and party with payments executives and industry peers.

Check the list of networking events below. We are sure you will find something each night to pique your interest.

First Timers Coffee Reception – If this is your first time at PAYMENTS, don’t miss “orientation” at this coffee reception. From 10:45 a.m.-12 p.m., you will receive a short overview of all of the educational and networking opportunities PAYMENTS has to offer. Then enjoy a coffee break with members of the Conference Planning Committee and NACHA staff who can answer your questions and help you make connections.

Regional Payments Associations Meet & Greet - Immediately following the First Timers Coffee Reception, conference attendees are invited to visit with the Regional Payments Associations for a complimentary lunch. A representative from each of the 11 RPAs will be present to welcome you and answer any questions you may have. This event is open to all PAYMENTS attendees.

Sunday Social – After two rounds of Sunday workshops, meet us from 5:30-7 p.m. for a relaxed evening of delicious food and drink specials. The popular no-host Sunday Social pulls together participants looking for a casual gathering and networking opportunity.

Beach Reception in the Exhibit Hall - The first full day of PAYMENTS 2018 kicks off at 8 a.m. with the opening keynote from economic forecaster and financial expert Mark Zinder and then goes into high gear from there. From 5:30-7 p.m., it will be high time to stroll through the Exhibit Hall to make those critical connections while also enjoying boardwalk-style games and activities.

At the reception sponsored by First Data, you can enjoy food and refreshments while surrounded by cutting-edge technology providers, payments service experts, and organizations poised to offer the solutions you need. During the reception, there will also be a Q&A session with the 2018 NACHA Payments Awards finalists in the Newsmakers Event Center in the Exhibit Hall, so mosey on over while you are networking.

2018 NACHA Payments Awards Luncheon - The awards celebrate proven accomplishment and leadership in the payments industry and recognize and reward the payments innovations defining the future. This year's winners of the NACHA Excellence in Payments Award and the NACHA Challenge Awards will be announced at the luncheon, sponsored by TD Bank. Check the PAYMENTS Blog soon as we announce the awards finalists!

Tuesday Night Out – As the last official networking hurrah at PAYMENTS 2018, don’t miss an evening reception at Petco Park, home of the San Diego Padres, beginning at 6 p.m. Take advantage of the rooftop deck, which features bay and ballpark views accompanied by music, bars and food stations. The Loft level offers pool tables, foosball, darts and shuffleboard. On the Concourse, try your hand at fast pitch and the batting cage.
